Bhubaneswar, Feb. 1 -- Kalahandi District Police successfully arrested an eight-member inter-state robbery gang and seized Rs 3.51 crore in cash, guns, bullets, and vehicles.
Sources at the Odisha State Police Headquarters reported on Saturday that the Dharmagarh Police apprehended the eight dacoits involved in a major robbery, confiscating Rs 3.51 crore in cash, firearms, ammunition, vehicles used in the crime, and other deadly weapons.
All the arrested individuals are from Jharkhand state. They have been identified as Tahir Ansari, Hussain Khan, Jaism Khan, Samim Ansari, Basudev Gope, Pintu (also known as Alim), and Anuj Kumar, all from Ranchi district, Jharkhand.
