Kakinada, June 24 -- Kakinada Collector Shan Mohan today released the annual credit plan for 2025-26 which stipulates extending of Rs.26,409 Crores credit to various priority sectors.

Presiding over the district consultative committee meeting at the Collectorate, he said a total of Rs.13,733 Crores to the agriculture sector was earmarked in the credit plan.

Giving the break up, he said Rs.7,535 crores was earmarked for crop loans and Rs.4,076 crores for term loans and Rs.2,131 crores for Agri infra and ancillary loans.

The Collector further said that the MSME sector was allotted Rs.6,513 crores, education Rs.86 crores and housing Rs.377 crores.
