Hyderabad, Dec. 19 -- Telangana Labour Minister and Visaka Industries Chairman G Vivek Venkataswamy, along with the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), on Friday announced the launch of the Kaka Venkataswamy Memorial Telangana Inter-district T20 Tournament, aimed at strengthening grassroots cricket across the state.
The tournament, sponsored by Visaka Industries, will be held from December 22, 2025 to January 17, 2026.
Speaking at the launch at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal, Vivek Venkataswamy, a former HCA president, said the initiative seeks to promote and systematically organise cricket at the mandal, town and district levels.
