Kaithal, Sept. 26 -- In a remarkable success, two youths taken hostage for ransom in a foreign country were safely rescued by the Special Detective Unit of Kaithal police.

SP Upasana provided the details, stating that on September 7, Somil Singh, a resident of village Sisla, and Naveen Mor, a resident of village Chhattar, boarded a flight for Australia from Jaipur Airport.

They reached Konart Airport via Tehran Airport and Sharjah. Tehran and Konart, located in Iran, are where criminal elements from Pakistan reportedly operate.

These criminals picked up the two boys from Konart Airport.

The youths were told they would have to stay in Konart before arrangements were made for them to proceed to Australia.
