Kaithal, Sept. 28 -- Kaithal Police, acting swiftly and effectively, exposed the truth of an alleged robbery within just 12 hours.
The case, fabricated by the complainant himself, was cracked through police vigilance and intensive investigation.
A police spokesperson said that on September 26 at 7:27 pm, the control room received information that two unidentified bike riders had attacked Gurpreet Singh, son of Kulwant Singh, a resident of Ward No. 5, Shakti Nagar, Kaithal, with an iron rod and snatched Rs. 2 lakh from his bag before fleeing.
Taking the matter seriously, SP Upasana formed a special investigation team under the leadership of DSP Guhla Kuldeep Singh Beniwal.
