Kaithal, Jan. 10 -- Three men have been arrested by the Anti-Vehicle Theft personnel in Kaithal for robbing an elderly woman, police said.
Police spokesperson said that according to the complaint of Suresh Kumar, resident of Devigarh village, on January 5, his mother Sona Devi (aged 75 years) was returning home from the fields.
When she reached near the government school of the village, an unknown person brought an e-rickshaw and made her sit in the e-rickshaw on the pretext of dropping her home. After walking about 200 meters further, two other youths boarded the e-rickshaw on the way. Together, the three of them took the elderly woman around and when the woman tried to get down, the e-rickshaw was not stopped.
