Chandigarh, Nov. 1 -- Tejpal, a kabaddi player, was shot dead late Friday night in Jagraon, just 250 meters from the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).
According to reports, the assailants first thrashed Tejpal in front of his father before fatally shooting him.
Tejpal, the only son of his parents, has left the family devastated. Following a complaint by his father, Raghubir Singh, police have registered a case against 12 accused, including Honey, Kala, and Gagan, along with several unidentified individuals. Three special teams have been formed to track the culprits, and raids are underway across multiple locations.
