Chikkamagalur, July 6 -- Tourism Minister CT Ravi on Monday appealed to people, especially those from Bengaluru, not to make a travel plan to districts like Chikmagalur, Kodagu, and adjoining hilly districts due to high number of coronavirus.

After Unlock 1.0, most of the homestays, resorts, and hotels reopened, as a result, a hill station in Chikmagalur, Kodagu, and Hassan attracted tourists from various parts of the state, especially from Bengaluru, resulting in an increase of COVID-19 cases in these regions, he told reporters
