Bengaluru, Sept. 23 -- Karnataka government on Wednesday suspended a lady Assistant Police Commissioner (CCB) and Head Constable (CCB) from service for allegedly indulging in revealing investigation details in drug trafficking case.
Police said that Head Constable Mallikarjun and Assistant Police Commissioner M R Madhavi were revealing the details of investigation to rivals thus hampering the investigation.
While Mallikarjun was suspended from service immediately after his role was exposed, Madhavi was suspended from the service based on recommendation by a Departmental committee formed to investigate her.
