K Murali appointed as the Director of DLRL

Hyderabad, July 1 -- Renowned scientist K Murali has been appointed as the Director of Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL-DRDO) here on Tuesday.

Murali takes over from N Srinivas Rao, a distinguished scientist who superannuated on June 30, 2025, a defence release said.

DLRL is a premier Lab in the field of Electronics Warfare Systems and has delivered Integrated EW Systems to the Tri-services during past six decades.

Murali graduated in Bachelor of Science in Osmania University, Hyderabad in 1988 and obtained M.Sc in Computer Science Engineering from University of Mysore, Karnataka in 1990.
