Lucknow, March 21 -- Former Rajya Sabha member K C Tyagi ,who along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, helped lay the groundwork for socialist politics in Bihar, has resigned from JD(U).
''Persistent neglect'' within the party on various issues, coupled with silence of Nitish Kumar-often regarded as the ''Chanakya'' of politics-ultimately paved way for Tyagi's resignation. He is now engaged in exploring a new path for himself. K.C. Tyagi has stated it is impossible to imagine the Janata Dal (United) in Bihar without Nitish Kumar.
Tyagi made these remarks in an exclusive interview with UNI on Saturday.
