Hyderabad, Dec. 6 -- Evangelist and political commentator K A Paul has strongly condemned the Telangana government's decision to invite former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair as a chief guest for the upcoming Telangana Rising Global Summit, scheduled for December 8-9.

In a video statement released on Saturday, Paul questioned the rationale behind the invitation and criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for what he described as an irresponsible use of public funds.

Paul referred to Blair as "the biggest war criminal in the history of the world"-a description reflecting his personal views-and alleged that Blair's foreign policy decisions caused widespread destruction and loss of life in Iraq and other regions.
