Jaipur, July 21 -- Justice Kalpathi Rajendran Shriram was today sworn in as the 43rd Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court.
Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade administered the oath of office and secrecy to Justice Shriram, at a brief but impressive swearing-in ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan here this afternoon.
Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant read out the warrant of appointment of CJ Justice Shriram issued by President Droupadi Murmu. The Chief Justice took oath in the English language.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, several of their cabinet colleagues, Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Sharma and several dignitaries were present at the ceremony.
