Srinagar, Sept. 24 -- In a historic first, Justice Sanjeev Kumar, the senior-most Judge of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, conducted Division Bench proceedings from border area of Gurez via virtual mode, setting a milestone in leveraging technology to overcome geographical barriers to justice.
Justice Kumar was on an official trip as Executive Chairman J&K Legal Services Authority regarding the child friendly scheme of NALSA-2024 and he heard all the listed cases from Munsiff Court Gurez through virtual mode.
The historic bench comprised of Justices Kumar and Sanjay Parihar, with the former joining from Gurez while the latter was in the Jammu wing of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh.
