New Delhi, May 15 -- National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) has announced the appointment of former Chief Justice of India, Dr Justice D Y Chandrachud, as a Distinguished Professor.

In a landmark development, the university will also establish a Centre for Constitutional Studies, with Justice Chandrachud leading the research direction.

The Centre aims to become a hub for academic scholarship in constitutional law under his intellectual stewardship.
