Ahmedabad, Oct. 3 -- In a moment of sheer delight and determination, Dhruv Jurel etched his name into Indian cricket history as he became the 12th Indian wicketkeeper to score a Test century, achieving the milestone on the back of a solid knock against the West Indies on Day 2 of the ongoing Ahmedabad Test at Narendra Modi Stadium here today.

Remarkably, he joins a select group of five wicketkeepers who claimed their maiden Test hundreds against the Caribbean side, a list that includes Vijay Manjrekar, Farookh Engineer, Ajay Ratra, and Wriddhiman Saha.
