Adilabad, April 22 -- Telangana Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Wednesday flagged off the 'Adivasi Tourism Exposure Programme' at Gond Gudem in Utnur mandal of Adilabad district, aimed at providing tribal communities exposure to key tourist destinations and urban infrastructure.

Around 200 Adivasis set out from Gond Gudem in five buses for Hyderabad. The group is scheduled to reach Taramati Baradari at 1300 hours.

During their two-day visit, the participants will tour prominent attractions in Hyderabad, including the International Airport, Charminar, Golconda Fort, Taramati Baradari, Lumbini Park and Shilparamam, as part of an initiative to familiarise them with the State's tourism potential.
