Shahjahanpur, July 17 -- A Junior Engineer (JE) committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. His head was cut off from the torso.
The engineer's brother-in-law accused the department's Executive Engineer of harassing him. He said that his brother-in-law was depressed after the dispute. But, he never thought that he would take such a step.
Police said here that the incident happened on Thursday morning. The police have sent the body for postmortem. The engineer was a resident of Rae Bareli and was working while living in his in-laws' house in Shahjahanpur. His wife is a government teacher in Sitapur.
