Jude Law opens up about preparing for his role as Vladimir Putin: "I Became Obsessive"

Venice, Sept. 1 -- Hollywood star Jude Law revealed that he immersed himself deeply into the persona of Russian President Vladimir Putin while preparing for his upcoming role as the leader.

British actor Jude Law told yesterday how he became an "obsessive" viewer of Vladimir Putin in preparation for his role as the Russian president in his new movie "The Wizard of the Kremlin" that will open later at the Venice Film Festival.

Law, 52, closely resembles Putin, mimicking his scowl and unique swagger in the movie by French filmmaker Olivier Assayas, which tells the story of the former spy's ascension.
