Hyderabad, Oct. 26 -- The upcoming by-election in Hyderabad's prestigious Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency, scheduled for November 11, has become a fierce three-way contest among the ruling Congress, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

All three parties are treating the poll as a crucial test of strength in Hyderabad's urban political arena.

The bypoll was necessitated by the death of sitting MLA Maganti Gopinath in June 2025, leaving one of Hyderabad's most high-profile constituencies vacant. The Election Commission has scheduled polling for November 11 and counting for November 14.
