Ranchi, Aug. 8 -- The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) has appointed district-wise gram panchayat supervisors under its "Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan" to strengthen and expand
the party's base at the panchayat level.
The appointments were made by JPCC president Keshav Mahto Kamlesh on the directive of All India Congress Committee permanent invitee and Jharkhand in-charge K. Raju, party general secretary and media in-charge Rakesh Sinha said on Friday.
Sinha said the appointed supervisors will regularly visit their assigned gram panchayats, coordinate with district and block presidents, and ensure the effective formation and functioning of gram panchayat Congress committees.
