New Delhi, Sept. 23 -- Acknowledging the vital contribution of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and the Ministry of Health in elevating food safety benchmarks, union Health Minister JP Nadda today called upon food regulators to remain alert to shifting dietary patterns and market trends, and to revise safety norms and regulations accordingly.

Addressing the gathering during the unveiling of the logo for the Global Food Regulators Summit (GFRS) 2025, scheduled to take place from September 26 to 27 here, alongside the World Food India 2025 event organised by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Nadda emphasised the need for a multidimensional strategy to safeguard public health.
