Berlin, March 14 -- Joshua Kimmich has agreed a new deal with Bayern Munich, the German giants confirmed via the club's official website.

The Germany international has put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him at the club until 2029.

The agreement comes after lengthy negotiations that had sparked speculation over Kimmich's future.

The 30-year-old midfielder, who is also Germany captain, has now committed his long-term future to the Bundesliga champions, joining the likes of Manuel Neuer, Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala, who also extended their contracts earlier this year.
