Hubballi, May 2 -- Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Congress party over its demand for a caste-based census, accusing it of hypocrisy and inaction despite being in power for six decades. "Congress ruled the country for 60 years but never conducted a proper caste census or released the caste data from the 2011 survey," Joshi told reporters here, referring to the Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC) conducted under the UPA government.
