Beirut, July 31 -- With the cooperation of Syrian authorities, Jordan successfully evacuated 112 foreign nationals from the southern Syrian province of As-Suwayda, the Jordan News Agency reported, citing the country's foreign ministry.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Sufian Qudah stated that the evacuation was carried out at the request of the respective governments. The individuals were transported by buses operated by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, in coordination with Jordanian national agencies, the report noted on Wednesday.
