Ranchi, Oct. 21 -- The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has intensified its criticism of allies within the INDIA bloc, accusing the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of betrayal and questioning the Congress party's silence ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections.

The sharp remarks come after the JMM officially declared that it would neither contest nor campaign in the Bihar polls.

Speaking to the media in Giridih, senior JMM leader and Jharkhand minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu expressed deep disappointment over the actions of the alliance partners.

He warned that the party might reconsider its role in the INDIA bloc if the concerns and interests of Jharkhand and its people continued to be overlooked.
