Ranchi, Oct. 22 -- Political activity has intensified ahead of the Ghatshila Assembly by-election in Jharkhand, with the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) ramping up efforts to secure the seat.

The constituency has come alive with election fervour as senior party leaders actively hit the campaign trail, energising supporters and mobilising voters at the grassroots level.

According to party sources, JMM ministers Deepak Biruwa and Hafizul Hasan are already leading the campaign in the region, while another minister Yogendra Prasad Mahto is set to join from October 22.

The ministers aim to strengthen the party's grassroots presence and directly convey the government's development initiatives to voters.
