Jammu, Nov. 15 -- Jammu Municipal Corporation has launched a comprehensive initiative to restore and revitalize all water bodies under its jurisdiction.
With ponds, wells, and traditional water sources rapidly disappearing due to urbanization and increasing aridity, the Municipal Corporation is committed to conserving natural resources and raising public awareness about their importance.
Taking a major step towards the conservation of traditional water ponds, the JMC continues to strengthen its efforts and today, in Ward No. 75, Durgachak area of Sangrampur, MLA Surendra Kumar, along with Municipal Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav, laid the foundation stone for the conservation and complete reconstruction of a historic pond.
