Srinagar, Nov. 13 -- The night temperatures across Kashmir dropped sharply below the freezing point Wednesday night, marking one of the coldest nights of the season so far, the Meteorological Department said.
According to data from the MeT office, Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of -2.1degC, making it as the coldest night of the season. The temperature in Srinagar was 3.4degC below normal for this time of the year.
The maximum temperature in the summer capital settled at 17.1degC yesterday, slightly above the normal of 15.9degC.
