Srinagar, March 22 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Saturday expressed grave concern over the exorbitant spending of public funds on chartered flights during the last three years emphasising that such reckless expenditure is intolerable and demands a thorough investigation.
The party said BJP's attempts to shield mishandling of funds speaks volumes.
In a statement released from the party headquarters, NC's State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar expressed grave concern on the use of chartered flights and excessive spending amounting to Rs 35 crore in J-K.
Imran emphasized the urgent need for a thorough investigation to determine the validity of these actions.
