Srinagar, Aug. 22 -- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today terminated two government employees for alleged terror links.

The terminated employees included Khurshid Ahmad Rather, a school teacher and Siyad Ahmad Khan, assistant stockman in Sheep Husbandry Department- both residents of Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The employees were dismissed under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution of India, which empowers the government to terminate services without providing an opportunity for explanation or holding an inquiry into their conduct.
