Srinagar, March 8 -- Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday attached property of two proclaimed offenders in Sopore sub district.
Police attached 6 kanals and 19 marlas of orchard land belonging to two proclaimed offenders Irshad Ahmad Reshi of Yamberzalwari Harwan, Sopore and Bashir Ahmad Mir son of Harwan Tujjar, Sopore.
Police said this action is related to a 2008 case which was registred under sections 2/3 EMCO, 120B, 121 IPC and 7/24 Arms Act.
"The attachment was executed under the provisions of sections 82, 83 of CrPC, by a team of Sopore Police and Revenue officials, after receiving approval from competent authority," police said.
