Jammu, Oct. 5 -- The pilgrimage to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Shrine has been suspended for three days from today in view of the weather advisory issued by the Indian Meteorological Department.
"In view of the inclement weather advisory issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the Vaishno Devi Yatra has been suspended from October 5 to 7 and will resume on October 8," Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board official said.
"Devotees may stay updated through official channels," he further said.
However, hustle-bustle returned to Katra town in Reasi district after the suspended pilgrimage to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Shrine earlier resumed on September 17.
The yatra was suspended on August 26 due to heavy rain.
