Srinagar, April 26 -- Security forces have busted a militant hideout in frontier district of Kupwara in North Kashmir and recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition, officials said.

The hideout was busted, amid stepped up anti-militancy operations, in the wake of Pahalgam terror attack earlier this week.

Officials said acting on specific intelligence input, a joint operation was launched on Saturday by the forces in the forested area of Sedori Nala, Mushtaqabad Machil during which a hideout was busted.
