Chennai, Nov. 26 -- JIPMER observed the Constitution Day today with a solemn and meaningful ceremony to reaffirm commitment to the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution.
Dr. Vir Singh Negi, Director, JIPMER led the collective reading of the Preamble to the Constitution of India.
As part of the ceremony, the Preamble was read out in three languages-Hawasingh, Senior Administrative Officer, read it in Hindi.
Mrs. Lakshmi, Law Officer, rendered it in Tamil and S. Rangabashiam, Deputy Director (Administration), read it in English. Faculty members, staff, students across various departments of JIPMER joined the reading.
