Chennai, April 4 -- The Department of Orthopaedics at JIPMER successfully organised a two-day "Basic Ilizarov Workshop", marking a significant academic and clinical milestone, reinforcing the institution's role as a leading centre for advanced orthopaedic training in South India.
The workshop was organised by the Department of Orthopaedics, JIPMER, under the leadership of Dr. Suresh Gandhi B, Professor and Head of the Department, who served as the Organising Chairman, and Dr. Pasupathy P, Organising Secretary.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from nearly 50 young orthopaedic surgeons and postgraduate trainees representing various states across South India.
