Kochi, March 18 -- Jio Payments Bank has introduced a UPI-based cash withdrawal facility through its Business Correspondent (BC) touchpoints, marking a significant step towards expanding digital payments and financial inclusion in India.
The newly launched feature enables customers to withdraw cash by scanning a UPI QR code at BC outlets and authorising the transaction through their UPI applications, removing the need for debit cards or access to ATMs.
The initiative is particularly aimed at improving banking access in rural and semi-urban regions, where traditional banking infrastructure is often limited.
