Giridih, Nov. 18 -- A young man lost his life on being struck by a speeding truck while returning after watching a cricket match in Jharkhand's Girdih district, police sources said on Tuesday.
The incident happened near Netaji Chowk late Monday night.
According to the sources, the victim was returning home after the cricket match organised at Jhanda Maidan by the local MP.
As he reached Netaji Chowk, a fast-moving truck hit his motorcycle, killing him on the spot.
