Ranchi, Jan. 6 -- The Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department on Tuesday decided to issue show-cause notices to five districts with the lowest expenditure under key health schemes. The department also directed all districts to accelerate spending and implementation, failing which disciplinary action will be initiated against them.
The decision was taken during a review meeting held through video conferencing with civil surgeons of all districts, chaired by Ajay Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of the department. The meeting was held at the departmental conference hall.
