Ranchi, Oct. 24 -- With the four-day festival of faith and devotion, Chhath Mahaparv, set to begin tomorrow, preparations are in full swing across Jharkhand, including the state capital. Ministers, MPs, and district officials are conducting continuous inspections at major Chhath Ghats to ensure safety, cleanliness, and the smooth conduct of the festival.
Deputy Commissioners are personally visiting ghats in district headquarters across the state, instructing officials to intensify cleaning and maintenance work. Given the large gatherings expected at rivers, ponds, and water bodies, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been placed on high alert, with teams deployed in key districts.
