Bokaro, Feb. 22 -- Bokaro Police, as part of a special drive against illegal liquor trade ahead of the Holi festival, conducted a raid and seized fake foreign liquor worth approximately Rs 10 lakh, arresting one person in connection with the case.
Police sources said the raid was carried out in the Chatrochatti police station area, considered sensitive due to extremist activities, on the directions of the Superintendent of Police, Bokaro. A large quantity of illicit and counterfeit foreign (IMFL) liquor was recovered during the operation. One accused has been arrested, while a search is underway to apprehend other suspects involved in the racket.
