Garhwa (Jharkhand), April 13 -- : The Jharkhand government will investigate alleged treasury irregularities across all districts, finance minister Radha Krishna Kishore said on Monday.

He said the probe would cover cases reported between 2000 and 2026, with action against all those found involved.

"No one will be spared. Every rupee of government money will be recovered," Kishore said.

He said irregularities amounting to around Rs 30 to Rs 40 crore have so far been reported, with Bokaro and Hazaribag among the worst affected districts.

The minister said he has discussed the issue with the chief minister, who has taken a serious view of the matter.
