Ranchi, Feb. 27 -- The National Health Mission (NHM), Jharkhand, has announced that 'Umang Diwas' will be observed across selected Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in the state on March 6, 2026. The initiative, launched under the Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram, is dedicated to the health, education and holistic development of adolescents aged 10 to 19 years.

As per directives issued by Mission Director Shashi Prakash Jha, the programme will be organised on the first Friday of every month, providing a safe platform for adolescents to express themselves, gain knowledge and access essential health services.
