Ranchi, Jan. 6 -- Jharkhand will mark a historic first with its participation in the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum at Davos later this month, with a state delegation led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

The visit will be followed by an official tour of the United Kingdom, aimed at investment outreach and institutional collaboration.

The Chief Minister reviewed preparations for the January 18-26 visit at a meeting with senior officials at the Chief Minister's residence here on Monday. An 11-member delegation from Jharkhand will attend the Davos meet, marking the state's first appearance on the WEF platform since its formation.
