Ranchi, Feb. 21 -- The Economic Survey Report 2025-26 was presented in the Jharkhand Assembly on Saturday, with Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore highlighting significant growth in the state's economy over the past decade.

Presenting the report, the minister stated that Jharkhand's real Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) at constant (2011-12) prices has doubled between 2011-12 and 2024-25, rising from Rs 1,50,918 crore to Rs 3,03,178 crore.

He added that the state outperformed the national growth rate in four out of seven years between 2018-19 and 2024-25, while the economic contraction of 5.30 per cent during the pandemic year was less severe than the national decline of 5.8 per cent.
