Ranchi, Oct. 4 -- The Jharkhand Thalassemia Patients Association held a statewide Justice and awareness march here today, proceeding from Jaipal Singh Munda Park to the Raj Bhavan, even as light rain fell.
The marchers emphasized the need for free access to blood from government and private blood banks, no donor or processing charges, 24-hour access to doctors, and free annual medical tests including MRI, HPLC, LFT, RFT, CBC, and ferritin.
