Jamtara, Jan. 27 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Jharkhand Assembly, Babulal Marandi, on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Congress over the G-RAM-G scheme, accusing the grand old party of misleading the public regarding both the name and structure of the initiative.
Addressing the VB-G-RAM-G Jamtara district conference organised under the Bharatiya Janata Party's Jan Jagran Abhiyan at Narayanpur Road, Marandi said the scheme has been introduced as an alternative to the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA).
