Ranchi, Feb. 19 -- The Jharkhand High Court Thursday stayed further proceedings in two cross cases arising out of a Doranda road incident after the petitioner alleged that the matter was being given a "dangerous colour", including claims linked to a banned outfit.

Hearing Criminal Writ Petition, Justice Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi directed that no coercive steps be taken against the petitioner in connection with Doranda case until the next date of listing. The Court also stayed further proceedings, including investigation, in both Cases of 2026.
