Ranchi, Nov. 29 -- The Jharkhand High Court expressed displeasure over the state government's silence in the Surya Hansda encounter case, directing it to file a detailed reply within seven days. The matter relates to a criminal writ petition seeking a CBI probe into the death of tribal leader Surya Hansda, who was killed in a police encounter in Godda earlier this year.
The hearing was conducted in the court of Justice Ambuj Nath, where advocate Kumar Harsh appeared on behalf of the petitioners and presented detailed arguments.
