Ranchi, Nov. 4 -- The Jharkhand High Court has extended the stay on the recruitment process for women supervisors under the state's Department of Women and Child Welfare until further orders.
The matter pertains to the appointment of 421 female supervisors, which has come under legal scrutiny over eligibility criteria and recruitment rules. The next hearing in the case has been scheduled for November 6.
The recruitment, announced by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC), was exclusively for female candidates.
